Also, I'm pansexual. If you don't like that, well then I don't give a shit.

Oh, I like that there’s a version for extroverts now, too!

People In my life really need to learn about how to care for me as an introvert.

When I have kids, I’m making these into one big poster and putting this on their walls so they never forget.

Reblogging for future reference with the caveat that anyone interested should IGNORE the Mary-Sue Litmus Test. a) Mary Sue is a bullshit term and to my memory that test is as gendered as the term itself, and b) I recall it not taking execution into account at all. It puts an arbitrary limit on certain character traits, like you can be so-and-so amount of ~special and/or dramatic/angsty, without considering that for certain contexts, that method might not work. (i.e. certain things are often more normalized in fantasy worlds, which it doesn’t effectively account for, or may be an intrinsic part of the story in a way that works so well it’s unfair to count it towards some ‘total’.)

It’s also worth mentioning that when real people put themselves through it they often score really, really high, lmao.

But yes, otherwise: NEED FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

Our regulations suck. Why is that? Because we have CORPORATIONS, rather than responsible scientists and citizens, determining our Energy Policies. We have a “fox guarding the hen house” situation, like calling a detrimental air bill “The Clear Skies Initiative” and other bullshit like that. We have top regulatory posts being awarded to those who have vested interests in companies who produce unsafe energy. How can that be good?  Is anybody fooled?  Certainly nobody in the REST of the world is taken in, and the American populace is just too apathetic and sedated to even notice.
Not only are we bad at creating responsible energy policies, we also stink at harnessing the energy we do generate.
I believe the figure is that the United States uses 1/4 of the entire world’s resources, however over 65% of the energy we generate is LOST or DISSIPATED before it ever reaches its intended source!
Japan, meanwhile, manages to only lose 10% of the energy they generate.
We suck. I mean seriously.
